Nicolas Denino (b. 1985, Montevideo, Uruguay) charts a fluid and expansive artistic trajectory that bridges continents and cultures, now converging in Milan. With formative periods spent in Barcelona and New York, Denino’s work embodies the multifaceted influences of these vibrant cities. His artistic exploration, deeply rooted in Zygmunt Bauman’s concept of “liquid society,” delves into themes of individualism and isolation through ethereal, undulating forms.

Denino's practice spans both two-dimensional canvases and three-dimensional installations, with a distinctive focus on the purity of color and form. His journey from Uruguay to Italy, enriched by his experiences in Spain and the US, infuses his art with a warmth and folklore that reflect his diverse experiences. Milan, his current base, serves as a conduit for the global essence embedded in his work.

In partnership with Dinodo Studio, Denino brings its innovative vision to life through the 'New Life' collection, a series of limited-edition art rugs that blend creativity and craftsmanship. These rugs, limited to nine pieces each, employ traditional rug-making techniques to create three-dimensional, sculptural works that function as both art and spatial puzzles. This collection exemplifies Denino’s exploration of fluidity and personal space, translating his artistic vision into unique, interactive art pieces. The 'New Life' collection stands as a testament to Denino’s global journey and his inventive approach to contemporary art, merging his exploration of liquid forms with functional elegance.
