Julien Jaca collaborates with Dinodo Studio on the Road's Angels collection, presenting Children of Sky, a limited-edition hand-knotted rug that transforms his iconic visual language into woven form. Drawing from tattoo culture, outsider art, and American and European iconography, the work reimagines the biker jacket—a symbol of rebellion, protection, and identity—through the delicate yet enduring medium of textile. Laid flat and grounded, the composition invites reflection on how meaning shifts when form and context change, while retaining the spirit of defiance and freedom. Bold yet subtle, the piece translates Jaca’s intuitive gestures into a tactile landscape, where the intimacy of craft meets a contemplative sense of permanence.
Note: Every piece is meticulously handmade, ensuring that each rug is unique in texture, depth, and detail. Please note that as a result, individual pieces may vary slightly in color, pattern, or finish.
